when i bought my himoto cyclone, it said the top speed was 60 MPH, now i know thats not true, but the thing is definetly fast, and i was curious if anyone knows the actual speed rating, because i think himoto has a good thing going with the .18 engine im going to try competing at my local track, i put a HPI tuned pipe on my cyclone (truggy now check my pic) and i really think it could win, any thoughts?

Is this the truck version?? I am trying to decide what to get and would like to see what the truck looks like hopped up. I am also looking to see the 1/8 buggy hopped up if anyone has any of that. I am looking to race at the local track here in my area.(TX) I am wondering if these will be competitive against the higher priced buggies and trucks.

no its the 1/10 buggy version, but ive coverted it into a truggy, click on my name to see a pic of it, i would not recomend the 10th scale truck, stick with the buggy or 8th scale.

i clocked my tornado with a radar gun. it was just over 50 mph

i got 42mph out of my tornado xp, using 20% byrons race proven. i was using my bushnell radar gun.

any hop ups on your xp?

i was using 30% sidewinder fuel and for mods just a header and tuned pipe.

no, it was stock, 2 speed trans, i probably could have leaned it out a little more but it did 42 every time
