i think the hpi is the best, no-one has comlained about it yet, i have it on the tornado and so far so good. bolts on 123 only need to use the one way bearing that comes with the pullstart, and that fits perfect. there is a post here with the part number i dont have it on me now

The pullstart cord came loose from my Hurricane XP today while trying to get it started for the first time. Were you able to fix yours or did you have to replace the pullstart mechanism? Is there a part number for it? Sorry to burden you with so many questions but I am at a loss right now and could use some help.

We have the 1618PullStart in stock if anyone is in need. Redcat Racing should be releasing a new electric starter box within the next month or so.

My starter fell off the engine today. I got one tank of fuel through it , refueled , went to run it and can't start it. The real bad part is the screws in back of the engine are loose. I'm taking the whole car apart and going through it before I even think about starting it again.
