RE: Redcat vehicle repair/tune FAQ
Ehroof is right, on that chase_klein23. It just take a little upgrading to the hpi clutch bell set ups. There are 2 to choose from. Just depends if you want fast excelleration or a faster to top end. Once you upgrade you will have a great buggy for the money. I really like my buggy allot with the upgraded clutch bell. If you go to other treads from HPI, Traxxas, Ofna, and so on, you will see every make and model have the problems. That is just part of the hobby. Stick with it bro and you will be very satisfied.

They have a radio with full servo set by futaba i got at towerhobbies: http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...I=LXASX3**&P=0
It's an ok radio, needs more range, and a little glitchy sometimes; but you get what you pay for.

Here's the one I am looking into getting - http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...&I=LXEDP1**&P= , has two servos, the regular S3003 but also has the S3010 High Torque Servo which I think I need for my larger wheels and tires.

RE: Redcat vehicle repair/tune FAQ
Hello fellow Tornado fans! THis is my first post here and had a question, but first want to say thanks for all the very helpful info that yall have posted, I have found it very helpful and I will use all the input while fixin up my BB. What I would like to know is what is the best stuff to use to help remove worn out tires and the existing dried glue stuff on the rims. I found some Proline Dirt Hawg tires that I belive will fit, and whats the best stuff to put them on with????? I dont really know of any decent open areas of packed dirt here where I live so i have been running around in a large open parking lot and it is pretty obvious that I will burn through tires like a mad man after just a few days of playing.

i have boiled tires to get the rubber off the rim or you can try to use nail polish remover, acetone. to put the tires back on i use a medium ca glue, any hobby or craft store should carry it. Be careful when you boil the tires, you can warp them if they get too hot.

RE: Redcat vehicle repair/tune FAQ
this med. glue that ehoof was recommending, does it set pretty quick or will it give me some time to make them right due to the fact that I have never done this before?

RE: Redcat vehicle repair/tune FAQ
it gives you some time, it doesnt set up super fast but it does set up pretty quickly, usually i put the tire on the rim first, make it good then pull the bead out of the rim and glue it a little at a time, this way its easier to do.

If your kind of brave use FUSION other wise I like Racers edge RUBBER TIRE ADHESIVE. With this stuff I don't have any tires breaking loose. [&o]
