RE: Question for the Redcat Dealers
Eric,
When the car is running ? Ok , when the car is running good its great to have , BUT ........ I'll just say the whole first month of owning my ride was not good. Can you help me out with my carb needle ?? The high speed needle will not hold an adjustment to save my back side !! You get the car tuned and as soon as you gas it , it leans out to an overheat. Its the needle free spinning on its own.

What if you all stuck some sort of pliable caulking in there? Just a tad to try to stop it from screwing in on its own? I don't know if silicon would work or not but it's an idea.

Popper,
I was leaning towards hot glue , it will stick , but you can peel it off the metal. I've got another idea too , my ride is not hear at the moment so I can't modify it. I keep saying I'm going to do something to it then I forget ?? LOL Well its flying season too, so when the winds low it Airplane time , when the winds up , I guess I'll learn to fly the Redcat !!

There is a small o ring on the needle. Maybe if you find a replacement it would stay put. Here's a pic of my needle. If it won't come out the o ring is shredded arond the needle. You may have to disassemble the inlet to remove the needle. be careful.

RE: Question for the Redcat Dealers
i would recommend replace o ring and not silicone or anything like that because silicone could restrict the flow of the fuel if not carefull pr do more damage if and when gets inside the carb or engine

sloe is right there. In fact when I pulled the needle out there was a tiny piece of black crud down inside that I dug out. Be sure it's clean! Rain sucks but Sunday looks like running weather!!
