has anyone found any other bodies that fit the tornado xp? i'm taking it straight up truggie. i have some traxxas nitro rustler rims and some pro line dirt hogs on it. i'm going to see what kind of wear and tear it does to the gears and upgrade accordingly. however i am trying to find different body styles to fit. maybe a nice truck style to fit, like and escalade or something. i have not seen any on any of the redcat dealer sites on here, does any one know what might fit? also i see that most of the trucks have dual shocks, does anyone know if that can be done to the buggy? i'm not that much of a machanical genius, but if i have instructions i can make it happen (i'm an electical whiz and tend to screw up machanical stuff if i dont have instructions). thanks for all your help. i dont know how i could enjoy this hobby without all your guy's help. the local hobby shop is of not help to me.

Hey krazy,
There's been a number of people asking about a clear shell to customize........
we have these but not listed on our site right now.

I just put an HPI 200mm Suburu WRX body on my Tornado XP. I had to do a couple little modifications, but it wasn't hard. I picked up an HPI body mount kit and screwed the two with a flat bottom under two of the screws on the very front of the upper plate. For the back, I just unscrewed the wing mount tilts, reversed them, and screwed them back in. That way, when they are in their lowest position, they're flat. They didn't like up with the dimples for the HPI mounting locations, but I just put the body on and marked it while it was clear.
Painting the clear bodies is super easy, just pick up a can of lexan paint (hobby store) and spray several thin coats on the INSIDE of the body, you can't mess it up
. The bodies include stickers to mask off the windows too. Here are some pics of mine:
