hi fellas, i was just considering purchasing a redcat racing hurricane xp 1/8 or whatever the variant name is over here in australia. It will be my first nitro so i want to be able to easily get parts for it here. This forum seems to be really useful and the participants seem also to be extremely helpful and understanding of new people unlike other forums. And can you tell me what this is?[link]http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=6066685265&ssPageName= MERC_VI_RSCC_Pr4_PcY_BIN_Stores_IT[/link] thanks a heap guys

Hey man, Welcome to the forums.
I don't own a 1/8th buggy but from the pictures i've seen of them that looks almost exactly like the redcat car. Everything from the way the battery box looks to the suspension looks the same. Chances are it's the same car but just with a different name on it.

red cats and himotos are not copies actualy rc driver magazine just did a review on himotos 1/8th scale truck (which is a truggy version of the buggy) and were really impressed with it, it got an 8 or 9 out of 10 on almost everything they tested. and besides, the fact that they are interchangeable with more major brands is a good thing beacuse it makes parts especially hop up parts even more readaly avalible.
