I believe he already already knows of the Redcat replacement. Does anyone know of any compatible pull starts from other brands? I'd be interested as well.

I know I've seen people talk about compatible pull starts, not positive, but I thought I saw that the one for the HPI RS4 worked (I know a lot of other parts did), which would make any after market one for it work...I personally have found most name brand stuff to be more expensive, not cheaper...some better quality, some not...But direct from Redcat seems to be the pricier way to go...Give Topspeedtoys.com, or clermontmotorsports.com a try...They both have the stock replacement...I used this...was a little more expensive (I think), but was under $20...a lot less headaches, and I just cut the elbow off a 7/32 allenwrench for the drill http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...?&I=LXGFK1&P=7

the hpi rst should work cause the hpi rotostart for the .12-.15 works on the .18 engines on the redcat, bolts on perfectly.
