you can put onroad tires on the vehicle... would be cheaper than constantly replacing off road tires.

Im not really worried about the tires I have crashed my buggy twice by hitting the crub.I thought that if i got a truck it would take the crubs better if i hit them

if you hit a curb it does not matter what you have, you will most likely break something, especially a truck since there really is no bumper.

Andyde4 Think about this if you take a $ 40,000 car and hit a curb at 40 or even 30 I think you will do some damage. Not being a smart azz of anything but just trying to give you a different look at it.

I just thought with the truck being a alittle higher off the ground it might take the impact better

no bumper and the tire would take a direct hit, your better off with an onroad car, they usually have big bumbers to take the impact. I think the lightning is a good product since you dont really hear any complaints about it.

what would have happened if there was a big bumber on the front of it??? the bumber would have taken the shock not the chassis.

Yeah that sucks man. I really don't know what to tell you . I guess it depends on how much you want to spend. Savage looks pretty tough. That or just keep betting the crap out of the one you have. I got mad at my buggy and started kicking it like an idiot and bent it up pretty good. (dam temper got the best of me) I just took it all apart and bent it all back.

I know yours looks alot worse than mine and I don't know exactly what broke. But that is what i am going to do just keep bashing it and see what shakes out.

Ehroof did your ever see on this forum. A guy had a sweet bumper on the front of his buggy I think it was purple. Someone ask him were he got it but I don't think he anserwed. It covered the whole front of his buggy over the tires and all.

i think he bought the "flower bumber cover" which is the cover for the lightning and made it work on his buggy.

the vehicle would require longer suspension arms... the longest ones are on the 1/8 vehicles. Its about as tall as you are going to get for ground clearance.

earthquake would be up your alley. its by far... stronger than the volcano. Easier to drive, more power, and an extremely reliable engine comes STOCK! I'm wanting to get my hands on one... but then i realized something... all I have to do is throw MT wheels and tires on my buggy and its a earthquake.... but without the aluminum and slipper clutch in place of a center diff.

Thats about the best you can get from redcat racing. Earthquake is highest off ground, and the tire selection for your bashing is huge too. I'd recommend it.
