Default rear diff drive cups

Hey there can some body give me A hand does the rear and front diff drive cups have set screws in them? it looks like the one in the rear fell out. When you spin the front wheels and hold the rear one's they do not move at all any help please???

yes m3 or m4 i dont remember right off hand use loctite they are known for coming loose

WELL MINE FELL OUT DO i HAVE TO BUY THE HOLE CUP TO GET THE SET SCREW? PART #81018 sorry about the caps I left them on

no you can get set screw part # 02098 m3 part # 02099 m4 like i said im not positive wha ones youll need but i think its m3

or you can go to hardware store and buy them alot cheaper remember m3 m4

One more thing it looks like the front one fell out to? but the front wheels turn fine is there only one in the rear?

no there a setscrew on every drive cup -12 total 2 on tranny- 3 on front diff 3 on rear diff- 4 on axles

Hey I found of all things two of the screws in my old airplane stuff!!! Okay now do I set the set screw on the part inside where it is flat or just screw it in any where?

Got it and I had three of them and I locktighted them in and I will use the last one to take to the hardware store tommrow. Thanks sooooooo much I just love this site people helping people it's great[sm=thumbs_up.gif] thank you very much giddyuperic now maybe my buggy will go two times fatser.

Way cool I just hope that I can help someone, to return the favor[sm=biggrin.gif] Now my buggy will go two times as fast as it did I think that I did not really notice this I have been breaking in the motor so I have been taken it easy but I have only one more tank to go then all hell is go to goooo[sm=spinnyeyes.gif] thank you very much.

They let you wear those in MT just kidding[sm=lol.gif] Now the locktight do you guys know that they make 7 different kinds of it all I have and used was red it say's 290 on the tube is this okay?

itll work but its more permanent i i use blue cause its easier to remove

no those shoes arent mine they ar like ugly but i couldnt find a better pic of blue suede shoes

What about those lights on your cadi they are sweet where can you get them ? and do they run of the main battery?

well mine came with a walmart rb but you can buy them here http://www.rc-lights.com/index.htm a complete setup front and rear with brakes lights for 30 bucks i powered mine with seperate battery they really look cool as long as you dot endo your truck and break them haha

Well, Blue beat me to the drive cup advice, but I wanted to let you know one of mine fell off yesterday! Fortunately I noticed there was a problem when my truck wasn't hooking up and spinning the front wheels like crazy. I picked it up to take a closer look and the rear diff cup and rear driveshaft/dogbone were just sitting there between the engine and throttle/brake servo. Luckily I didn't lose either of them and the set screw was still in. I fixed it in like 10 min. without even taking anything apart! LocTite is a Nitro R/C's best friend...

Yes most for sure both the front and rear one's fell out. So now I have two tube's of locktight hitting the track in the AM right now I am watching thease dumb sick pup's on date line they should take them out back and cut their sh#t off right there and right then[sm=punching.gif]

yes the web site you gave me is sweet and they have A set of front and tail lights with all the wiring battery hook up just for $20.00 bucks and $5.25 for shipping. Thanks dude[sm=thumbup.gif]
