Hi
. I just ordered a 2-speed .18 engine tornado bb and I was wondering what you guys think of it. It hasn't come yet, so I just wanna get some input. Also How do you break in the engine, is there a certain way? there is probably a forum on here bout it, but I thought I would ask. Thanks!!!

upgrade the clutch bell and clutch spring. i usually just idle 3 tanks thru the car at the factory settings, the 4th i will start to drive it around no more that 1/2 throttle. make sure your piston it at the bottom of the stroke when you let it cool between tanks.
traxxas spring# 4146x (use the spring not the clutch shoes)

Thanks for the help.[8D] What good websites do you guys know about that have good hop ups for the tornado bb. I have looked around but can't find many.

topspeed used to carry the hop ups but he no longer sells parts, clermontmotorsports.com doesnt sell hop ups i think just replacement, you can try allaboutfunhobbies.com since he bought tst inventory.

i leave it all plastic since if the plastic breaks it cheap to replace, aluminum will bend or the plastic part its connected to will break so i leave all plastic on my cars.

Smart man eddie... lol I tell everyone that. Dont waste your money on the upgraded parts. Yes they look pretty but I would rather replace the cheap part than 5 other parts they are connected to

We don't have TST's parts there in the mail on there way the stuff won't be posted till mid January, but in the mean time if you email me and tell me what you want we can email you back how much it will cost for the part and shipping, We have a meet or beat price policy on all redcat, Himoto and Traxxas Parts (Ebay doesn't count). By the end of February we will have a full and complete stock for every car that Redcat carries. [email protected] By the way upgrade parts greatlly enhance the durability of your vehicle, My entire Volcano SV is upgraded with every aluminum part available Basically it's a Volcano SV Pro now, which is about to have an STS engine in the next two weeks. I haven't broken any thing since I replaced every thing with aluminum. But it's all up to the person that owns the car. OH HEY if you want light and fast stick with the plastic the aluminum gets kind of weighty. But if you want the upper chassis in aluminum we have 1 Purple, 0 Blue They both cost $22.13 + $3.00 or so for shipping.

]Does anyone know of anyplaces?
and thanks for the help!
