RE: Air Filter?
I'd recommend the motorsaver range of fliters. Depending on whether its a 1/10 or 1/8 these airfilters I find provide the best performance. The alloy ones look cool and blingy but you want as much airflow as possible.

RE: Air Filter?
motorsaver owes me 2 engines and they admitted that their filters were bad.
and those other filters, all that metal and so little air filter element being exposed. Integy's filters are ok... without that cage that they hide the filter in that is.

RE: Air Filter?
well I still have had great success with the motorsaver filters especially the 2 stage foam & mesh ones. The only one I find that allows my engines to breath properly so its the only ones I use. But I guess everyone has different experiences.

no nitro the air filter didn't break the con rod, he forgot to richen up the engine because of the new filter, fuel being to lean led to a broken con rod.

RE: Air Filter?
the top of the filter is held in by small little pins. I've had the screen pop off several times, and have discontinued use of any motorsaver filter. dirt then gets inside the engine, scoring up the sleeve, thus losing compression and left forced to rebuild.
