As far as something that will give a volcano sv some extra power, whats the best upgrade, or is it even possible to get that much more out of it,im starten to get ahead of myself with thinking about a new engine, there are tons of em out there , so depending on if it takes a lot of money to get my stock rig moven, would i be better off with a new engine, if so what would yall recommend for an engine that would be worth the upgrade

get a header. despite what others might say the stock one is way to restrictive and a nice round header makes a big differance. if u decide to get a new motor os's .18 is good and so is the LRP .18

i would also reccomend a header. It made a massive difference all round for me. I just got an .18 size one from my lhs that fit. I would also reccomend getting it fully ball-bearing'd so that there is less resistance, and also cause the bushings that come with it wear down the axles. And if you can still afford it, perhaps a better exhaust pipe. The ball bearings made the most noticeable differnce for me.

Will this header work? - http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...?&I=LXBTB5&P=7
I already have a cart started on Tower (above mentioned RPM tune pipe, additional MIP clutch springs, and HPI 17T vented cb housing) and figured I'd get this while I was at it, it's the closest to the blue header posted, but I wanted to stay with something matching the theme color of my truck without painting it.
It looks like it bends the correct way, it's just flipped over.

Thanks again! I just wish I could install it as soon as I get it, but my bro-in-law will get pissed if I do because he wouldn't have one and I'm not ordering one for him since he still has to pay up for the Himoto truck itself and now a new HPI Racing Clutch Bell as well
But as soon as he does, I'll install it and reep the benefits of both the new header and tuned pipe for sure [8D]
Tonight, I'll be working on cutting air & access holes in my truck body so that I can access the pull start, glow plug, and fuel tank ... along with helping him fix another issue that arose after replacing his clutch spring, the throttle lever spring nut worked itself loose and it lost the tension to help the carb opening rebound to 1-1.5 mm after you hit the brakes.
