Default engine swaps

have any of you guys swapped out your stock motors for anything else yet??whats a good motor for these trucks that wont tear everything apart and do u get a power difference that u can notice.also how big of an engine can we swap in these trucks i saw a couple of stock revo motors and was wondering if they would perform better.

i was goint to put the same thing, its a direct fit and has gobs of power, easy to tune and use.

cool thanks and is this going to tear up the truck??are you guys still at the point where u drive it for a day and then your ordering more parts.im just trying to get to the point when i run it out of gas im not going in the house to order more parts.im not ready to give up cause i think the trucks are very cool and kinda fun to work on but waiting for parts sucks.

upgrade the clutch spring and clutch bell and you should be ok, when doing heavy bashing you will break arms and hubs no matter what vehicle you have.

yep did both sets of lower arms swapped to the aluminum,and got all the hubs from an hpi mt2.still working on that no so easy.but i had one of the gears in the trans is spinning on the hub.i took that apart and tried epoxying it but didnt work.so i ordered a new trans and a gear set to fix the old one for a back up
