Ive searched the forums far and wide, but all the information i can come up with is that it is a very tedious process, but i would like to knoe how. Due to the lack of funds, i cannot order a new part, this ones working fine, just the string came off. I would like to knoe how to put it all back together again. Any help is greatly apreciated.

ive taken it apart, the spring is intact, just the string came off the end of it, and i cant figure out how to put it back on there and wind it all back up. I knoe that it looks like a damn tough job, and one that perhaps gloves are needed? damn, my cat just farted, and it stinks..

lol, my dog farts sometimes and it stinks, he is a 150lb rottie. I would suggest a new pullstart, once the pullstarts give a problem they always will, you can get a redcat one or an hpi nitro star .15 pullsart fits too.

ROTF, cat farts stink terrible, lol. It's takes alot of patience and is a very tedious task. There shouuld be a hole or a groove in the part you wrap the string around, you want to make a knot in the end of the string so it doesn't slide through the groove or hole, then you start the tedious trial and error part of rewinding the spring. There's no way to explain how to do that. Just takes lots and lots of patience.

well, putting the spring and string back together was easier then i had previously thought, and alot easier then everyone made it out to be, must be my manual dexterity, or just maybe i was lucky, after the 5th time of trying it, muhahahahahahahahahahahaha, my cat farted again, she must be eating that dog food again...

knoeing my luck, which is bad, i knew something was going to happen that would set me back again, and sure enough, my glow plug shaft broke, it still works, but it just dangles there, and the damn thing wont start, and i did not alter any carb settings, and its not flooded, it started for a few seconds, till i put some throttle on, then it stalled, i guess thats it for today
