RE: Redcat Racing Tornado Thread
What size are the front and rear dogbones going to the tires ? you go to parts on redcat's site and there's 4 different dogbone sizes.
Would it be the front size is 84mm and the rear 87mm ?
Transmission shaft 76mm Qty 2
Dogbone 61mm qty 2
Dogbones 87mm qty 2
Dogbones 84mm qty 2 (IF out of stock order 06022)
And on http://www.clermontmotorsports.com site there's
Transmissioin shaft 80MM*2PCS
Transmission Shaft Qty 2 70mm
Universal lever 55mm*2pcs
So there is now 7 different sizes for this buggy ? OKAY[sm=75_75.gif]

you may be running to rich so the carb loads up with fuel and the engine dies but if its running good and it dies when the idle sits for a long time then dont worry. I just raised the body post on my avalanche all the way up so i can start it from the rear wheel well. You will get your parts fast, dennis has really fast shipping.

try to lean it (1/8 turn clockwise) drive it for about 30 second and see if it get better, if not do it again. see if it gets better. if it seems to get worse, do it in the opposite direction and see if it gets better that way. this is for the high needle.

RE: Redcat Racing Tornado Thread
hi, is it possible to make the tornado antagonize 1/10 on road cars?
could you maybe suggest some upgrades to make it better on road?
(tires, engines, pipes, clutch systems, clutch bells, etc)
thx in advance

you can just put a finger on the clutch bell and one on the spur and wiggle them back and forth, keep one tight, there should be a little play, very little and the car should roll freely front and back.

Okay, I wanted more ground clearance and in a couple days my tornado will have a 2.2 beadlock wheels and proline dirt works tires, all off-road and grass. Right now I have stock gearing and I am probably going to bump the clutch bell down to a 13 tooth.
Question: Will any HPI 13 T clutch bell work or do i need to get one that is specifically for my buggy/engine? There is a pretty sturdy looking one on tower hobbies but the site doesn't really give anymore info than the material it is made of and the height and diameter dims.
also will I need new bearings?
