I don't see on thier site that it is warrentied. and for what? to send me an other radio that goes 30 yards? No biggie. The car works better than I thougth it would for the price, so I'm happy overall.
I would like to find some desent replacement tires. the lack of foam really makes them squooshy, and they just seem tiny to me, as if it were made for street.

redcat warranties their electronics for 30 days, figured exceed would too.
most 1/10 buggys run those size tires, if you want bigger you would have to get a truggy or stadium truck. The tornado tires work fine with no foam inside, there not that big and dont really need it. almost any rim with a 12mm hex will fit, some people put truck tires on them but then they are geared way too high. I would suggest sticking with the tires then buying a truck one day.

for some reason to get my tornado bb to shift i have to have the shift adjustment screw so far out that it rubs on the second gear. i had it shifting a little to earley so hopefully it will still shift if i screw it in just enough to not hit. doesnt really matter tho cause i just bought the one speed set up

Ok, the washer gets me close but I still need a bit more at the bottom of the wheel, does anyone know if the HPI 12mm hex hub extenders will work or something similar that is cheaper?

RE: Redcat Racing Tornado Thread
I have a Tornado XP/Shockwave and I am trying to mount 2.2 beadlocks with tires. I have a 13 tooth clutch bell installed, ran like a beast with the stock setup lol. The problem that I am having is that the a-arm will not clear the bottom of the wheel. If I space it with washers to the point where it is clear the hexes don't catch and there isn't enough stud to get the wheel nut on.
Another option that I have is to trim the inner beadlock ring, that might give me the clearance I need, but the hub extenders would get me there too.

RE: Redcat Racing Tornado Thread
quick question. Is the tsunami exactly the same car as the tornado BB with bigger tires and a truck body. or are there any differeces I should know about.
I still would like to change my cluth to the HPI with lower gearing but I'm not clear on weather or not it will bolt on. ehroof, you said i would need some bearing to make it fit. wich ones?

the suspension is different, shock towers, shocks. you can use that hpi clutch bell but you will need this to do it:

they are both good, its really up to you, i like them both. The tsunami is good for deeper grass and rougher terrain, the buggy handles better on grass and flat off road. They both have their pluses. get the buggy then the truggy or the truggy then the buggy, lol
