Do all hpi nitros have the same gear mesh or teeth per inch?
yes, the savage and rs4 series do have the same pitch to the gears

does anybody know if there is anything to make the wheels more offset on the tsunami? I bought some wheels but the offset is to close I spent way too much money to have them sit arround.

Ehroof did you get a chance to check out the diffs? There really small holes. And by the way I got the gladiators there sweet!!!!

Get 2 sets of these [link=http://66.226.4.160/itemdetail_part.asp?partno=08064]Stub Axles[/link]and one set of the [link=http://66.226.4.160/itemdetail_part.asp?partno=08065]Wheel Hex's[/link]and that will give you another 1/2 inch of off set. You will need grub screws for the hex's.........2 each so 8 grub screws.............works very well and is solid mod

Those are not vent holes in pic 3. They are for a sway bar and those are the screw holes for teh swaybar mount. You can plug those Just find some short screws to fit.

Has any one ever had a problem with the single speed direct drive gear being off round? I got one brand new and I cant use it, the spur gear is so out of round that when its mounted the gear mesh gets so tight that it wont turn then half a turn the other way there is too much play in the gears.

here's a picture of my tsunami and volcano stx with the rustler rims, these are the older style nitro rustler rears, the new style will work too. on the tsunami i had to do a little trimming on the ribs of the rim but it wasnt that big of a deal.
