If you are upgrading the radio Id go for the 2.4ghz. Im using Spektrum as well but the futaba and Airtronics make good 2.4ghz systems. No glitching, no crystals, and a short antenna. Definitely worth the money.

It might be a futaba look a like. They sure do look like futabas. Anyway, I've looked at the spektrum radios and they definetly are a little on the pricey side. I'm not gonna be racing competitively or anything, just bashing in the yard and fields with my friends ( they run electrics ) besides my g/f would kill me If I spend a chunk of money like that right now. You know, with Christmas coming up soon and everything. But if yall think futabas are good I might look into those too. Thanks for the input guys..

Ok guys, my streak of not breaking things endedl yesterday. I snapped both rear dogbones, the rear transmission dogbone, and stripped both the left and right drive cups on the rear diff. I have plenty of replacement dogbones, but I need the drive cups. I've been looking on redcats site and the only thing they list is the part number for the whole diff. but when you put it in the part number search it comes up invalid part number. I've been looking at the drive cups in the parts search and I'm not sure which ones I need. Theres like 3 different drive cups. A, B, and I think C. Anyway if someone knows which ones I need I would appreciate it. I have a big day of bashing comming up next weekend and I need to get my car runnig by then. My friends and I are having like 12 people coming to bash this coming Saturday. Help please................

Ok, the 02032 is the drive cups. Thanks man. But is there a part # to buy the whole diff like eminent said? In my manual, they have the part # for the whole diff but it's not on redcats site. Does anyone know if you can still get the whole diff assembled? Case and all?

I can't find the complete assembled diff for redcat, but I found it for exceed. I know alot of the parts with redcat, exceed, and himoto are mostly the same. So can I use the exceed diff?

Yes the exceed diff should be the same. You can also check out the himoto mamba for part numbers, its the same as the tsunami. Ill see if I can find you a part number for the whole diff set.
Try 06063 for the front diff and 06064 for the rear

Yeah, unfortunately the 06064 and 06063 don't exist with redcat anymore. I just got an e-mail from redcat support. I can buy the diff set, but it's not all complete I'll still have to buy the pinion gear and a couple other things, bushing, etc. I'll probably just go with the exceed. It's cheaper that the himoto. Exceeds is only $20 and himoto wants $27 for theirs. Isn't that crazy? You would think they would all be the same price since they're being made at the same place. And that's the prices on thier direct websites! Oh well thanks guys...if anyone has anymore ideas i'm always open for suggestions.........again thanks..........

Brett, we have a 06064 here if you want it.
Make sure you use locktite on the grub screws to prevent vibration from loosening the cups.
Also we have HiTech Radios and receivers.

I just want to say, my hat's off to rctoysthn.com, they have the best prices on both vehicles and parts!!!!!!! They straight hit me up on a pm and told me they had the part I was looking for. You can't ask for better service than that!!!! If it wasn't for them I might have spent hours trying to figure out my diff. But they hit me up and had a drop in that I was looking for. Now I can spend my time driving my nami not trying to figure out how my diff went together. Thanks.......Brett185............

I think ill start it tomorrow after work. Maybe ill put a modded 3.3 in it just to start. I keep forgetting to figure something out with the revo diffs. Did I tell you guys that there almost the same size as the tsunami diffs? they just dont have anything to mount them onto the chassis with.

I do somewhere but I cant find them. You know how the sealed tsunami diff looks? K take that and remove the parts that the screws go through to hold it to the car. The revo doesnt have any screws holding the diff in place it just sits inside the bulkhead...... strange but strong. So all you would have to do is make some mounts for them to work. and of course you would have to run savage or revo diff cups.

I'm not sure where i saw it, (I'm pretty sure it was on these forums) but I remember seeing a post that had people listing compatible/interchangeable parts that would work on Tsunamis. I'm having a hard time finding it again...
I need to replace the rear axle holder, but the hobby store I deal with doesn't carry redcat parts. Can anyone recommend an alternative that would fit? (I'd prefer to upgrade it to aluminum, but will get plastic again if I have to)

Thanks.

Redcat, exceed, and himoto are all interchangeable. Some HPI MT2 parts will work as well with some minor mods. Eminent is the expert on that end though.
