IMO it looks like a closer copy of the Kyosho (braces, radio box, front suspension)
Looks like it comes with a front sway bar too.

Dont want to get stuck with something you cant even find parts for that would suck to break somthing little and not be able to fix it so you just wasted 2 bills

Where I might agree with the idea of spending less I am WAY more interested in getting more for my money, and the VTX looks to be far better built and will have support and parts available thru Team Vertex. The lay-down steering servo, front sway bar, oversized aluminum front shocks, use of CV's vs dog bones, far better wheels and tires makes up the difference in price. As do the HEX bolts etc. Had I found this Vertex prior to the purchase of my REDCAT Hurricane PRO, I would have gotten it instead and saved $50+ dollars. Im not saying Im not happy with my Hurricane, because I am, I just like a few of the features of the VERTEX a bit more. The great advantage of the REDCAT's is the number of different models available and the number of people NOW familiar with the product. In addition to all the HOP-UP parts available and thru multiple sources. All in ALL I am pleased with the REDCAT brand.

So the VTXB1 or Team Vertex is Simply a re-labeled HIMOTO RXB1 with a few different parts such as engine and tires, their new 1/8th scale buggy. Though the engine is probably similar, it just has their name on it and one less shim to make it a .26

My question is, if it's a relabeled RXB-1, why isn't the RXB-1 out yet?

The Ebay car for $179 looks more like the Duratrax Raze, even down to the body paint scheme. There are lots of raze parts available online or at your LHS. The one with the black wheels shares a lot of parts similar to kyosho, redcat and the raze. Any of these would probably be starter sets and you could upgrade parts as they break. Good deals though. I have a couple 1/10 cars, a smartech speedy car and a redcat tsunami I converted to a truggy with some of their buggy parts, looks nice. The body sat too high for my taste.

thats a smartech vanguard. Duratrash bought into the "vanguard" and sells it as a raze.

So if these are kyosho copies, loks like mp777 or us sports inferno, couldn't you order the kyosho parts online or lhs? I can't compare them side by side but in the pctures they look very very close.
