Default Boiling plastic parts?

Any body here do this or is it urban legend, myth busters type material? If it works, what is the procedure, boil in pot for 5, 10, 60 minutes? How about removing engine and electronics and boilng the whole car, would that work? ? ? ? ? ? Thanks

Default RE: Boiling plastic parts?

they say you can boil plastic and it makes it more flexable, i wouldnt bother, too much work to take apart. i would just have some back up suspension parts.
