Default it happened again!!!

on sunday i was playing with my tornado and after it ran 15-20min it took off, went wide open into a curb @ my apt comp parking lot.

batterys are fine, i just lost all control of the car for a solid 15 sec.

then today with my huricane i was in a totally different area about 1/3 to a 1/2 mile away in a huge dirt lot, same thing. i was driving

it for about 2min then it just took off. thank god the hurricane is so well built, or it woukld be in a dosen pieces.

i didnt break any thing but that thing is hard to catch.

they both seem to go wideopen and to the left, i caught it as it was circling in the dirt and knocked it into a spin then dived on it and

burnt the heck out of my finger on the exhaust(darn aluminum pipe) cutting it off.

anyone ever had this problem, and a failsafe wont fix this problem, it doesnt lose signal.

please help

also make sure you batteries are taped in. If they come loose you will lose control.

Check your switch wires, we've had a few with bad switch wires or the switch got jacked inside somehow and that wiered stuff like your talking about happens.

Is there a satalite dish anywhere near where your driving? We have also found out that if your in the vacinity of a satalite dish your signal will go all kinds of jacked up.

theres alot of dishes around. im never running anywhere near here again.

too bad i wasnt on video trying to catch that thing, i bet it was really funny to watch.

but ive run in the parking lot many times and in the dirt field a few time with no probs. for now ill just blame the dishes.

Well go somewhere that there aren't any dishes at all and try it out and see what happens, I'v driven mine a few times where there are dishes and noticed that at certain times of the day the car acted strange.

sattelite dishes only receive a signal, they dont transmit one, thats why you have to plug your sat. box into a phone line to get pay per view. i have 2 dishes on my house and so does my neighbor and several other houses on the block and i never had a problem.

There's three sat dishes on my street and if I drive past them with my car, it goes nuts. I know how they work, it's the signal there recieving that's screwing up the radio signal, since AM is extremely susceptible to interference from everyday electronics that emit or recieve signals. It's not that the sat dish is sending a signal to the car it's interfering with the signal from the transmiter.

sattelites transmit everywhere, not just at the dish, lol. the same sattelites are used from east to west coast.

My Hurricane did the same thing when I got it. I had a venom fail safe and was using the stock radio. I was driving it up and down my street full throttle past me and to my terrible supprised it wasn't slowing down. By the time I ran a half block it had already went a half block hit a chain link fence, it rotated 90 degree's and took off for two blocks until it flipped over in a field. I think the batteries jumped out of the holder. I replace the battery holder with a rechargeable hump pack and got a spectrum radio system....since then no run aways. It is a general thought that the Stock radio's suck *****!
