thank you minicwik, i got my controller in today. anyways i have to switch the crystals on controllers and the new controller looks different and the crystals dont go in far enough to "plug" in when in case. could i take the crystalsout of case thing and put in by themselves, then put tape over the hole incase they were to fall out?

yes you can

take a small piece of something like electrical tape and make a pull tab so you can get it out easily before you put it in, then put your piece of tape over the hole.
