is your idle too high? if so try turning the trim knob on the controller, its the one that says th or it. this should help you out, if not you may have to lower the idle with the idle screw, its the one on the carb under the air filter with the spring on it, counter clockwise lowers the idle. take the air filter off when you make the adjustments to see if the opening in the carb is getting smaller, it should be about 1mm. If your idle is ok and the car still wants to move you cluch spring may be broken, i doubt it since you can probably start it on the ground.

if the clutch spring breaks the it will never idle without going (clutch out all the time) you need to pull the bell crank to tell [:-]if you look threw the forums you could find out what there using to replace the old spring with.............ask ehroof

traxxas 4146x spring, dont use the shoes that come with it, just the spring. you shouldnt be able to start it on the ground if the spring is broken but able to start if off the ground or on a block.
