Yes that is more than likely the problem. Here is an updated spring and clutch shoes. You can use them both. http://www.clermontmotorsports.com/s...-spring/Detail

Its weird though i had the car running two days ago but after a little while it would just stop moving and then just rev unless i lifted off the ground but i do need a clutch spring since i don't have one. I think i will get one for like a couple bucks.

OK, bought the traxxas clutch shoes and spring for my tornado bb so it should be good after i get my new pull start, 2-speed, and 4wd working again i will probably post a video or some new pics in like a week or so.

bro, you cant use the traxxas shoes, only the spring. next time get the setup that clermont posted above this way you can use the cltuch shoes and spring.

i ordered them from towers but i checked and its at the warehouse already and they said i cannot cancel since they are about to ship out but its okay, Is the traxxas one any better than other clutch springs????

i have been using the 4146x spring, i am actually the one who came up with that fit but now that clermont found these other ones, its better to use the clutch spring and shoes instead of just the spring. order the clermont setup next time
