Default advice beginner here

hi i have just managed to start my truck yippee after putting whole tank of new fuel in checkin pipes set my high speed needle 3 full turns made sure low speed needle is flush and idle screw primed her up. gave it a pull and she started. The wheels were spinning like mad and it sounded like the engine was going full pelt! so i grabbed the glow starter took it off and it dyed down and shut off.
now i not sure if this means i need to adjust the idle screw or low speed.but also when i turn controller on and then car, the throttle keeps moving and opening up the carb but im not pressing nothing? so it makes it extremly difficult to adjust the idle screw so there is 1mm gap in carb because it keeps moving itself!! could this be why the car was reving like mad when i started it ?

Sounds like the clutch spring to me. If it wont run on the ground without taking off it's usually the spring. I had the same issue with a Tornado. As flyinGN said, check the throttle trim also. It may also be the radio itself.

Here is a good basic radio from Tower. Works great for me.

Im new as well, hope this helps.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=81L5s8iBuao there is the video explaning where things are its easy realy you can take the engiene out yourself as i did and was suxesfull.otherwise you will not know what things are and where and you will learn please try.when i first tried to take my engiene out i was scared as it was scary but now its not its all simple now and so clear of what to do so oder a cluch and cluchspring ey pal what do you say.PLEASE(I AM DOING YOU A FAVOR)OF THROWING THE CAR IN THE BIN NEXT WEEK

IF YOU THINK YOU HAVE BROKEN YOUR SPRING LIFT THE CAR OFF THE GROUND AND PUT IT ON A PIECE OF WOOD AND PULL THE STARTER CORD AND IF THE WEELS TURN AROUND WHILE PULLING IT YOU HAVE BROKEN YOUR CLUCHSPRING.
