Default Problem With My Engine???

Hello, right now I have run into some problems with my engine on my Volcano SV.

The problem is that after a little while of running it my acceleration is horrible and my top speed drops way down below its usual. What is funny though is that when I first start it up and let it idle for awhile it accelerates perfectly and the top speed is amazing but after awhile of running it really starts to die down, but if I shut off the engine and let it sit for a few minutes it will start out performing great and then once again start giving me trouble[:@]!!! It is so annoying because I have no clue of what it could possibly be and I to fell to good about it since I just got done rebuilding all 4 rear shocks, had to replace the manifold gasket, and my gears (but not my clutch bell) are starting to shear causing a not so smooth roll and I HAVE ONLY HAD 2 QUARTS THROUGH IT!!!!. I haven't been rough on it by any means and I fell a little uneasy about my buy[]

Could my engine problem be a leak some where? Ohh I also get lots of air bubbles in my fuel line if that means anything?

Any help would be great!!!
Thanks!

Default RE: Problem With My Engine???

Sounds like its running too lean. Try richening the HSN up a bit and see if that helps. Be patient as each adjustment can take a few minutes to show any effects. If you have no luck and it keeps on doing it, then its possible you have an airleak somewhere causing the lean mixture. Bubbles in the fuel like most likely indicates an air leak somewhere.

In terms of the gears shearing, its not so much the truck itself but simply the gear mesh between the CB and the spur. You'll need to adjust that so there is not one hint of a binding. Put a piece of paper in between the CB & spur, which should help set the right amount of play. You should be able to remove the paper without tearing.

The CB & the spur are perfectly fine and show no signs of shearing but the other metal gear in my transmission and the gear that you can see from the bottom are really starting to look bad. I'm not sure what to do about it either?

Any suggestions?
