My brother has a tsunami and i have a question about the gears, because i have a friend who has a 2 speed buggy. His car you can hear the gears shift and his has a much higher RPM sound. My brother has the same motor and gear ratios but his doesnt has as high RPM and you cant hear it shift. Its not near as fast as the other 2 speeds ive seen. It shifts gears those its not stuck in 1st, i put it on a stand and hit the gas the rpms go up higher and i can hear it shift. It runs real fast and has alot of speed im just not sure its at its full potential. And ive tuned it the right way im just wondering if thats normal for his car or what.

the tsunami has bigger tires than the buggy and since they use the same gears the ratio is too high for the bigger tires, i put a 13/18 clutch bell in mine, the stock is 17/22, the 13/18 makes a big difference. check out the tsunami or buggy thread for the links to the stuff you will need to convert it.
