i dont get it, why red cats models so inexpensive compared to traxxas or hpi? smaller engine? less quality product? why are they so cheap?

new company, trying to get out on the market, quality control could be better but they are coming a long way in a year. They are definately worth the money, all rc's break so your better off breaking your $200 rc instead of your $400 one. The have .18 engines that are pretty durable.

Yea ehroof is right, they are really a durable product. And the price is right. They are not the best, but we are talking about a ready to run package. Most RTRs are not the best the companies have to offer. Keep that in mind.
