Default Thinking of purchasing a Shockwave.

I stopped driving nitro offroad a while back, because there was no track by my house. Now there is, so I want to get back into racing. I was thinking about buying a Shockwave to keep me busy while I wait to get a truggy. Mostly because I'm horrible with money, and
I figure if I can keep myself busy with a cheap RC car, then it would make saving easier. So i was wondering... Is it really worth the price?

I've read a lot of reviews and they are all very good, and i was wondering what problems everyone has came upon with their Shockwaves. Or really any Redcat vehicle. So post up the problems you've had, and let me know how hard they were to fix.

radio system is the biggest problems, but with al rtr's thats usually a problem. Besides that how can you beat a rtr nitro for $99
