HI All,
Just a quick questions. Will you get any problems if you use an electric start during the breakin of the engine? I jhust picked up an electric start but there is no info regarding breakin period.
thanks.

It's the one that you put on the backing plate to replace your pull start. So it should be okay then. Thanks for your help.

just be careful that when breaking in, the engine is running very rich and can flood, its hard to tell with a rotostart, with a pull start you can feel it hydrolocking (getting hard to pull) with a rotostart you cant, so listen for it to sound like its working extra hard to turn over.

rotostart has a hydro lock to ed when the car gets flooded it wont turn the engine over with the roto

it will shut down when it overheats, this happens when the starter has to work too hard to turn over the engine when its flooded.
