i have tried everything i can think of. I have adjusted the screw on the transmission numerous times, both loosening and tightening it, bit it still will not shift (and im positive i am adjusting the correct one). then i thought maybe my rpm's were not hight enough, so i set everything back to factory settings because my car shifted fine the first time i ran it but still no luck.
what else can i try? this is very frustrating. the only other thing i can think of is that the little tab on the gear is worn that the arm is supposed to hit so i pulled it off and looked at it. there is a little bit of wear but the tab doesn't seem worn out in my opinion. the car has only been run about 3 hours, its just not as fun when it doesn't kick in to second though. what should i do?

change the shifter, i had to, its easier then trying to fool with it, but a couple, they are cheap enough.
