got tired waiting to get a piston and sleeve for my avalanche so i decided to buy a sts d30m for it

your crazy, (you asked for it) let us know how that engine works out for you. I have the .28 and i like it.

i will as soon as i get i plan on taking it a part and clean it all out and seal it up with rtv and then take some pictures of the motor in the truck

this motor is a monster half way through breakin and its trying to pull the front end up in a wheelie as soon as i get it brokein a buddy of mine wants to race his avalanche against my avalanche his is stock with the sh28 in it and mine will have the sts d30m in it

We might have a contestant for the first redcat wheelie contest. Actually the one and only. Is it a contest if there is only one contestant? If it wheelies before you tear up the drivetrain get video!!!

they wont let me because it is a 1/8 scale and not a 1/10 scale

It'll wheelie I have the 30 in my Hurricane and had to put monster truck tires on it to keep it from flipping over. There won't be any contest when you race your buddy, he'll still be at the starting line when you hit the finish line. I can't keep 30s in stock they get on the shelf and they're gone the next day.

LOL of course he wont race... Just pretend your engine is slow and low on power. When he gets a "run" on you, pull it hard and say "ta ta"
