Default Differences

Is there any difference between the Himoto Viper and the Red Cat Volcano? If not which one is the oringinal manufacturer?Been to both web sites and am thinking of purchasing the Viper upgrade.

neither one, they are made by a total different company, your better off with a redcat since the company is based in the usa, himoto is based overseas

the are the same trucks and products with different names, just redcat is better because we are here, lol.

seriously though, your better off buying a redcat, if you buy from a dealer here, i reccomend clermontmotorsports.com , you will have a person who is here all the time and willing to help you out. dennis from clermont has been here since redcat opened their doors so he's not going anywhere, be careful with ebay since you dont know who your dealing with. in any case, we will help or at least i will help you out no matter what you get!!!!!

I believe you may have contradicted yourself, one quote you say no and the other you say yes. Well I know all the products are the same after further research between the two and ones no better than the other, except for the fact I can get the Viper upgrade much cheaper than the Volcano Pro. with shipping!Thank you for helping me make my mind up....Next time someone ask a simple question, just tell them the truth the first time.

maybe you need to read what people say the next time you ask a question, you asked if one made the other and i said no, then i said they are the same trucks, both are true statements, what didnt you understand?

i said "neither one, they are made by a total different company, your better off with a redcat since the company is based in the usa, himoto is based overseas "

then i said: "the are the same trucks and products with different names, just redcat is better because we are here, lol."

O.K Let me put this to rest: Himoto Builds both, they design and manufacture for several distributors and put there names on them. They are designed and built in Hong Kong.Sorry for even asking,I was just trying to do some research without having to call HK.

You are wrong, they are made by HSP( http://www.hispeedmodel.com/ )for himoto and redcat, not to mention other companies such as exceed and acme. There is nothing to be sorry about, i answered your question and your the one who came off with the attitude not to mention wrong information.
