I was just curious what are some of the differences between the Tornado and the Hurricane other than the fact that one is 1/8 and the other is 1/10.
1) What kind of speeds do each have stock?
2) Is one more durable than the other?
3) Can the Hurricane go through grass much easier?
Also, any other thoughts comparing the two. I purchased the Tornado XL and have had alot of fun with it and i was curious if the Hurricane was worth the extra money to add it to the collection. Thanks!

the hurricane is faster, much more durable, can run thru taller grass, jumps better, its just a great buggy, i love mine.

1/8th Scale vehicles give you more bang for the buck, they cost more but they break WAAYYYY less. I love the Hurricane I have. I've run it into telephone poles, brick walls, curbs and it still keeps on ticking with no broken parts yet.

to be honest you cant compare them lol. The tornado's have plastic spurs, the hurricanes have metal. ALso the hurricane is a big block, the tornado is small block. I have a track and there are alot of redcat hurricanes on it, 2 people tried with the tornado's but didn't have any success. Too small to go anywhere in the sand.

so it definitely sounds like the Hurricane is worth the price difference. How fast does the stock Hurricane run?

I wont post what a stock one did because I dont want to start a war. It was clocked by the local sheriff in the kmart parking lot. Its fast enough put it that way.

I have been on this forum for a while, and know how people react. I am sorry for even mentioning it then. I am not ready for another war on here lol.

It would be fun! I can pop some popcorn and watch the games begin!
On a serious note, I did notice when reading through old posts that there were several occassions where people would ask for advice and if they didn't like what they heard, they would attack the person giving it. I saw that happen to ehroof the other day.
Thanks for all your help thus far!
