I was curious if I am eligible for the redcat exchange engine program. The model I own is a himoto with a vx-18. I dont have the bill of sale as I got this second hand.

Don't think they will do it, you have to have bought it from a redcat dealer or redcat and I believe it has to be a Redcat vehicle. What's wrong with the engine?

Himoto has a engine exchange to just go to Himotoracung .com and it is on their web site.

So how would they know if its a vx from redcat or himoto?

You have to have the sales reciept from where you bought the car.

It's tough to tune and he "pinch" seems weak. In places it also seems to double pinch.

Went to himoto and could not find a exchange program. They have a infinity 18 there for $75. Is it any good?
