I just received my Hurricane Xp today. Man there is a world of difference between the Tornado and the Hurricane. Hurricane Looks like it can take a pounding and can deliver one too. My only question is??? The manual is abo****ely no help again, kinda hoping there would be a world of difference there also. [
] There is basically nothing about the break-in period. I was wondering...as far as the needle valve, is it basically the same adjustment for break-in as the Tornado. Only thing the manual said was 1 to 1 1/2 out for normal running, and that seems lean as heck. But maybe not. I think I'm going to follow the Traxxus break-in procedures. But would like to know where to set the carb at to be on the safe side...Any other help would be great!!!! Also received an FM radio with it, and there is no instructions on it at all.

yeah bro, do the traxxas break in with it, the settings it comes with are good for break in, you may need to lean the needles a little to get you going but see how it starts first. I would idle the first tank though and be careful to make sure the piston is on the bottom of the stroke when cooling. Is it an regular fm radio or the digital lcd radio?
it a great buggy bro, you will enjoy it, its fast and durable

Its an FM LCD radio, Looks really nice wasn't expecting it to come with the buggy. A nice added suprise. But yeah, the Hurricane definately looks like the cream of the crop. A lot heavier than I expected too. And that monster of an engine on it doesn't look very economical, but who cares.....LOL

Also make sure you get your temps up to over 200 degrees durring break in expecially the first tank idle. If the temps wont go up then get a wet paper towel adn wrap the head. Just keep an eye on yuor temps. There are soo many different ways to break in a motor but the traxxas will do you fine.
