I need some suggestions. What weight of oil should I run in the shocks of my Hurricane. The stock oil seems a little soft. I'm also looking to run an in-line fuel filter. Also what weight of oil you guys running in your diffs. Are those a real pain in the ***** to change? Maybe just leave that stock.

diff oil, i run: 7 front - 10 center - 3 rear

shock oil, use a medium/heavy oil, like an 8-10, it depends on the company for the number some are 8, some 80, some 8000

i like dubro fuel filter, not heavy on the wallet, redcat has a decent filter too.

Clermontmotorsports.com carries all this and more, check him out, he's a full service hobby shop with everything you could need so if you dont see it, ask for it, just drop him an email., i get almost all of my rc stuff from him, plus real fast shipping

Yeah I won't buy any parts for my hurricane or my tornado from anybody BUT Clermont. His shipping is excellent and his prices are great too. I would have bought my Hurricane from him, but did not think he sold them. Sorry Dennis..... I support him due to the fact he is always here to help me when I need it, and thats worth more than anything. I'm just gathering a list, and will email him when it comes time. Thanks again Dennis for all the help, and the great business.....

no problem. I am glad I can help. I have the workers working on the website everyday. Things have been going great. Try 50 weight in the hurricane. Seems to work good for most. The diffs are not that hard to change. The buggies dont have a big tire ballooning problem like the truggies do. Some dont even change the diff fluids in the buggies.
