Default REDCAT Shockwave

i got the cheapest 1/10th redcatracing Shockwave with the .16 i'v been runnning it alot i bought bigger tires for it from the redcat Avalanche but the engine overheats i'm going to buy the .18 for more power besides the engine what do i need to get for the upgrade? and how much work will it take

how are you going or did you fit those tires on the shockwave, one is 12mm hex and one is 17mm hex.

click on post reply, then click on the lower left, says click here to upload images and files, then a new window will pop up, click browse and find the picture on your hard drive and click ok, wait for it to upload and click ok, the window will disapear and click ok on your post on the main window and you will have pictures.

good but those are volcano rims and tires, not avalanche. looks cool though, use a 13 tooth clutch bell for those tires, you will have no low end power with the stock clutch bell.

no, it would be worse with the 2 speed. the .18 would help you out a little, trade the .16 in for a .18 sh, it will cost like $50 with the engine replacement program

2 Speed will lower the low end. Yeah, if those were avalanche tires, the WheelBase would be like 2 inches, LOL
