fill diffs with silicone????

Default fill diffs with silicone????

I took mine apart tonight to clean em up and degrease em to fill em with silicone fluid.. No gasket and it sure looks like the silicone won't stay in.. Has anyone has sucess with filling a shockwaves diff with silicone???

someone just said not that long ago they used thick silicone oil and no leaks, i think nick from redcat.

I didnt think you can put diff fluid in the shockwave diffs. They are not sealed diffs like in the 1/8 scale trucks. No matter how thick the fluid it will still leak out. You can use some good synthetic marine grease in the diffs.
