Default Tsunami Transmission ?

Anyone tried the 39T and 44t gears for the Tornado Buggy in the Tsunami with the stock clutch bell?

What about the 13/18 bell?

does a stock Tsunami shift from one gear to a higher gear when you put on the throttle ?

Yes it will shift to a higher gear but its geared wayyy too high to do anything. You actually lose speed and power once it shifts. The single speed is the way to go for the tsunami. Less parts to go wrong also because the second gear is pretty weak and will fail.

so this is what I would need to convert from 2 speed to 1speed?
How many teeth are on the spur gear for the 1 speed?

but the 2speed is 42/47 so doesn't that make the 2speed quicker off the line?

not with a 13 tooth clutch bell, the less teeth on a clutch bell the more low end power but less top end. its the opposite for the spur gear, the more teeth the more low end but the less top end speed.
