well I can tell you that a tornado BB is fast enough to break a rim....haha...the tornado BB is actually pretty fast. I am a beginner with this hobby so it is definitely fast enough for me.

the shockwave will hit about 30mph, the tornado bb will hit at least 42mph, i used my radar gun on my torando xp (same as bb except suspension) i am sure i could get a few mph more out of it if i leaned the engine out a little more

the tornado and shockwave are good runners, it all depends on what you want to do. truck are better for off road and jumping. If you want something that is super durable, fast and great jumpers, go with the 1/8's, they are more money but they are super.
