So does this modification have any affect on the life expectancy of the engine (considering it is tuned and maintained properly) ?

actually, the p6 and the xtm have different sleeves. Even though the part number is the same, the porting is different. Also, the block and crank is slightly different. And to clear it up, yes the 6 port fits in the p3.


yeah it fits right in...had to go to the shop and get a big hammer to drive mine in, but that babies in there..lol...jk...lol

oh Ic...That solves my problem then.

Now I don't have to decide which one gets the better sleeve

Just to clarify, the p3 mod you have on the site is the XTM 457 one and not the sh p6 sleeve. right?

correct. The p6 wasn't ported as nice at all so I used the xtm.

I'll still end up getting one sleeve from you when you get them back in stock even though my LHS has them.
The LHS price isn't that great, but I'll pick one up from them just so I can have it for this weekend.

wow, I was waiting for a reply for days and somehow must have missed all these replys.

Sounds like the XTM P3 mod is a goer! You can expect an order from me in the next few days. Cant wait.

ok...decent weather...open shop with a heater...fresh gallon of byrons..add all that up and u get a freshly broke in hurricane with a clermont mod installed broke in..lol..this was such a great buy...havent leaned it out yet at all...so dont know what it actually has but can already tell its better then the 3 port...thanks Dennis im gonna have fun with this

ohh and hehehe...I run my buggy some today...was runnin it up and down the sand road to see how close my settings were from the last time I ran...anyways I was slideing it to turn it around and it started to roll backwards a bit, when I nailed the throttle it stood up ont its rears...couldnt believe it..could maybe see it on grass or somethin, but not on loose gravel...was havin soooooo much fun till I smoked another steering servo [:@]..will be getting some hitech's soon....and another mod

ok wayyy to funny...I was just told I was running my buggy today..lol...seems my friend was like 4 blocks away or better and could hear it running...wasnt just him...his brother heard it first and asked if I was going to be running it today...he listened and said yup..lol
