Hi Guys,
I just got some parts from redcat - brake parts for my hurricane. Question: the shoulder bolts that came with the brakes are about 1/4 inch too long, longer that the original ones that came out of hurricane. Any idea if this is just an error or is there something I'm not getting here?
Any light you can shed on this would be apreciated.
Thanks,
Lee

Well, no pics but, don't laugh... I used the original bolts for the engine side and the longer bolts for the front side. Front side had to use two discs. Effectivly giving the front dual disc brakes, so to speak. Not sure if this will work or how well. Seems to work on the bench but I do not know if it will work in the real world.

Try RUFaster.com I just ordered mine from them two days ago. Sale went through, so I must assume that they have them in stock.

Look at the guide that the disk ride in. It has 2 slots. Thats why the screws are longer. You can use duel in front and rear. Chris did that on his monsoon also. So if you want more breaking power just add them to your redcats.

Cool, thats what I thought. I did do that on both the front and the back however, the clutch bell housing hits the back. I setteled for dual discs in the front only.
Thank you for the info. It helps much.
