Default Bashing

The old man is coming out tomorrow and we are going over to the park to do some bashing. I plan on getting some video of us so I can add it to the video I am making. One question I have for everyone is what kind of video editing software can I download off of the net? I have a program but it makes the files so big, I can't upload the videos to youtube or anything like that. I am trying to figure out a way to make them smaller when they get saved, but so far I have had no luck. I am trying to find a simple program just to do some basic editing so I can post videos for everyone.

I use windows movie maker for my videos. It comes pre installed on most PC's. Its a really easy program to work with and it allows you to select the file size when you save.

Ehroof told me about the whole youtube thing and I couldn't figure it out. So as far as this windows movie maker program. I am thinking I should have it on my PC since it is a newer dell, and it came with windows XP, but I can't seem to find it. Is there somewhere I can download it on the net?

Go here there is a list of video editing stuff. Just filter through and find a free one. Windows movie maker is also on there.

Just got home from bashing at the park. Got a small video of me driving the monsoon. Kids were getting on our nerves so the wife wouldn't record much. Dads savage was being a pain so he didn't get to drive it very much. I am uploading the video as I type so once it is done I will post it. The rod that holds the lower a-arm on one of the front wheels fell out. I lost the two end caps, so it won't stay in now. Fortunately dad had some spares for his savage which were the same thickness as mine, just longer, so I could use it and the a-arm wouldn't fall off. After I got it put back together I was running the Monsoon and dad was running my Tornado and no one recorded it.... ....dang it. We did some good racing with them, and we wrecked once, and knocked the crystal out of the reciever and we had a runaway car. It was soon stopped by the front wheel of dads truck. The only damage was a bent shock tower. We bent the tower back, put the crystal back in and we were off again. Now that the weather is getting better I will be able to bash more, but I will make sure I have a friend come over and record for me. Sorry for the book.

here is the video. You can see right at the end the car takes a hard left. That is when the a-arm disconnected from the car.

yeah, they were trying to catch it, it was pretty funny watching them try to get to it. The one that said get out of the mud was my mom. As you can hear in the video she was getting a kick out of watching the boys run after the cars. The one in the blue is my nephew, and the one in the green is my son.

it is funny you say that. I thought about trying that, but everytime I got close to them with the car they got a little scared. It would make for some good video though.

Not bad. Once we get these things running we'll get some good vids on here. Only got 1/2 tank of fuel run when the truck broke. Should of had the wife recording it. Did some pretty good tumbles with it.
