mAh is the capacity of the cell. The pack when charged will be around 6 volts. 4 alkalines = 6 volts. Get a stronger steering servo.

becouse the batteries standerd alcilines are about 700Mah and that pack is 1100Mah per cell
Alcilines = 1.5Volts x 4 = 6 Vots
Ni-mh = 1.2 volts x 5 = 7.2 volts...
so it will put out more voltage and have a small bit of more power! but to make a big difrence get the futaba s3305 for lots of power or a litter cheeper the s3010

yes but charging time will depend on the amount of mah the charger puts out and you should get at least the same run time from a 1600, its hard to say how much more time since it really depends on the driving (how much the servo's are used)

They will last alot longer. Its always a good idea to get a fail safe just incase. Not any 6v charger will work either. You need something that will charge at a slow rate and preferbebly something that shuts automaticaly.. I have a traxxas charger that I charge all my batteries with and it works awsome. Its regulated and shuts off when charged.

just purchased a brushless system for my tornado exp . installed the system everything works great. pulled it out the next day and ran it then the battery blew up. can anyone tell me why? it was a redcat 1800 i purchased a venom 3000 nimh will this work?

maybe the draw on the battery was too much and it couldnt handle it, the venom should handle it fine, contact redcat and let them know that the battery blew up and make sure it not a defect or problem with the batteries.

and get the Monkey off your back
