fuel line loop?

Default fuel line loop?

so i would like to know what the loop in the fuel line is for? is it just to have a bit more fuel? and i have seen some with a loop in the fuel tank psi. line as well. why would you do this?

You dont need either but the fuel line with a loop will make it run longer in case of a roll over. Thats all its for.

You need that line to pressurize the tank. The pressure from the tank is what pushes teh fuel into the carb.

I have been told that loops in the fuel line help to guard against Fuel Starvation on Turns where the car is subjected to High Centrifical Force,,
Some Racer Folks told me this.... I have never expperinced this condition Myself tho.....
And, Obviously, a little extra Gas might mean the difference between running out of Gas on the last turn, or finishing the race....
