Default Transmitter question

Can I use the AM radio from my Tornado for my Monsoon? And what all do I need to swap out for this to work? After a lot of thinking about this FM issue I really don't want my Monsoon to get torn up and I can't buy another Radio system so I am hoping I will be a little better off with the AM radio.

You will be able to swap your FM radio for an AM when we get them in stock.

I made a post here:

Why do the servos need to be swapped? I was under the impression that as long as the transmitter and reciever were on the same channel, the servos didn't matter. What am I missing?

Yeah, cuz when I've ordered new servos, I don't remember having to designate between having an am or fm setup. I just plugged em in and get back at it.
