would a 12 volt drill work for the vx. 18, or dosn't it spin fast enough?
ok i was useing a 9.2 volt 700rpm and it is not fast engough by a countary mile! you need a 2000Rpm rotostarter, i am geting one and i will tell you about it when i get it...

and take a look at this i found it when i was looking around on you tube!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X1kkwAr6tqE

that is the stock redcat brand rotostart! i guess it works pritty well!

yeah it has been about 3 weeks for now, and I am going through some serious withdrawls. Got a little bit of a cure today. Me and dad ran his Hurricane and Savage for a little bit. Parts haven't come yet though. Guess I will have to wait another week to run.

Don't forget about coming over here on Friday and running my cane while I was gone!! He was having trouble with the throttle servo and all he needed to do was replace the batteries. Cut his running time short. Lost a dogbone out of the savage Saturday. Only 2 weekends left before running off to KC for the ARCA, Craftsman truck and IRL race. No Sean is not getting any tickets this year!! I'm going to all the races!!

Your one way bearing may be bad.
If it is, a roto starter will not help. You need to clean or replace the Bearing.

Your one way bearing is dirty and it will do the same thing with an electric start system so get used to it or make sure you purge all the fuel out of the engine every time you shut it off [&o]

I`m a pull start guy kinda guy, never had a problem yet. Long as your engine is tuned well and broke in properly a pull start will start on the first to second pull if primed properly.
