Default beat up body

Took my Volcano to the local bmx track last week. Hit a four foot jump and was about 8-10 feet in the air.

Landed bad. Went end over end a few times. Cracked up the back corner of the body. Is there a way to fix?

Fiberglass tape for drywall and shoe goo works really well.
Stick the tape on the inside of the body where the crack is and then spread shoe goo over it.

You can also use goop instead of shoe goo.....I think its a bit cheaper and its the same stuff.

If everything is in one piece, just cracked, align the cracks and lay a line of CA (cyanoacrylate) tire adhesive over the crack on the inside and outside of the body. If pieces are knocked out, use scotch tape on the outside to hold them back in place while you lay the CA along the cracks on the inside. After the glue is dry, remove the tape and glue the outside. It may not look perfect, but it is pretty good. And the joints are pretty strong. I have repaired mine, and I get new cracks near the old cracks where the old repairs held together, and the original body broke.

When you replace your body make sure to get a better or thicker plastic like Proline uses [&o]

+1 on the shoe goo. It works wonders! Drill a small hole where the crack is so it can prevent it from spreading. I have seen a few bodies with bondo on them, but its time for a new body when it comes down to using bondo.

or you can use 2 part epoxy and dry wall tape it works wonders... and the epoxy you can get the stiff and very tough or the soft and seems like it does not harden and flexiable... you can choose!

use the duct tape works descent, it's cheep, can be used multiple times, and it looks sweet!

edit: face it your body is going to get cracked again some time soon, so use the cheapest and easiest way.

How bad does it look? Have a pic by chance? you might be able to trim it depending on where it is cracked.

also you can do the atv fix on it. Drill holes on both sides of the crack, and use zip ties to hold the crack together.

You could go to walmart and get the fiberglass patch kit and patch it that way
