RE: CANT FIND RIMS FOR TRUCK
The only thing you must have is 12mm hex. AllAboutFunHobbies has a good selection of the 2.8 rims. They are not very common, though, so your selection is somewhat limited. A Jato uses 12mm hex (on the rear only - it's 2WD), so any Jato rears will work. Note that the bead is different on Traxxas tires and rims, so be sure they match if you are thinking about a Traxxas product. You can also get any 2.2 rim with a 12mm hex, and they are much more common. Make sure your tires and rims match. If you want to reuse the stock tires, you will need 2.8 rims. If you get 2.2 rims, you will need 2.2 tires. For OD, you can get what you want. But bigger than stock gains ground clearance, loses acceleration and gains top end speed. Smaller than stock loses ground clearance, gains acceleration and loses top end speed. Finally, watch your width and hex mounting distances to avoid interference between the inside edge of the rims and tires and the body of your truck.

RE: CANT FIND RIMS FOR TRUCK
as long as the rims have a 12mm hex they should work just make sure the offset of the rim is right, or it will rub. i put these 2.2 hpi rims on my 1/10 truck.im editing this just to add that this setup is the same as stock height just the sidewall height of the tires are different. and these tires are a little more narrow than the stock wheels and tires.
